I am too predicatable. If you have read any of my FB diatribes you know what this tantrum is about.
I am sure everyone has heard the ongoing argument over President Trump’s phone call to the Gold Star widow of Sgt LaDavid Johnson. I am sickened at the way this has been reported and exploited
President Trump needs to disengage. He doesn’t make this discussion better by defending himself though I believe he is absolutely correct in his comments about the Congresswoman.
General Kelly has more integrity in his little finger than the news media as a whole. If you did not see his press conference I have linked it below. You also need to read his eulogy for two young Marines in his chain of command who were killed by a suicide bomber as they “leaned in” and killed the driver, saving many of their peers. Also attached.
So now the tinfoil lined, cowboy hat wearing idiot is calling General Kelly RACIST for calling her an “empty barrel?” What the actual heck? Sorry whackadoodle, that’s a gun reference, not a race reference. I guess when you’ve got nothing, you use the race card. Sickening. Oh, but she is a self-described “rockstar” ????
Also read the link I’ve attached about the dedication of the FBI building General Kelly referenced in his press conference. He doesn’t say her name, but guess who he was talking about? Yep, Miss Rodeo Clown 2017 herself.
The left is now attacking him as covering for Trump. Umm, no. He clearly stated he is defending the last bastion of decency left in this country….the way we treat our military. As he aptly noted, religion and gender are no longer revered as they once were.
I knew as soon as the press tried to twist the words “he knew what he was getting into” what had been said to the widow. I’ll bet every other veteran I know also knew what was said by the President.
It was twisted, by the whackadoodle, by the media, by the left. Wilson is saying “Hold my beer” to Waters.
When someone says, “he knew what he was getting into” the part that is said next or implied is “but he did it anyway.”
He. Did. It. Anyway. Knowing that the cost may be his life. For a soldier, marine, sailor, or airman, there is no greater compliment. Service to the nation and to your fellow service members is a calling that we are fortunate our young people heed.
I suppose in some eyes this makes me “militant” or “nationalistic” or some other nasty word du jour. Whatever. Oh, wait….maybe I’m “complicit.”
“White supremacy” in 3, 2…..
